Voici le texte pour le catalogue de l'exposition de Leung Yiu Wah à Hong Kong en septembre à Taikoo Place. ce texte concerne la performance qu'il avait réalisé dans mon univers virtuel de second life lors de son départ des ateliers spada à Nice

LEUNG Yiu Wah was the curator of many exhibition projects to bring coming the European artists in Hong Kong, French and Italian artists, especially the artists of Nice from the Blue Coast in the South of France: in return, he was welcomed back to show his art in Europe principally in France and Italy.

There still was a world in which I had not yet had the opportunity to make coming of LEUNG Yiu Wah; the virtual world of Second Life. It's finally on the occassison in the farewell of his workshop which was offered to him by the city of Nice, we reconstituted the whole space of that studio in the internet by 3D web. The opening party allowed to gathering a numbers of the avatars connected from the whole world, coming on a ground composed with the huge apples with five stars of China, an installation floating in the sky of the Second Life.

While crunching in the forbidden fruit, the creature, men, were chased away from the Paradise. Since then, until man does not trying to take himself as God in willing to play as the creator, he tries to reconstruct the lost world. Second Life is the paradise where the artist becomes back to the creature inside the artwork. This time, it will be impossible to him to crunch the virtual apples of LEUNG Yiu Wah even if Eve came passing by there.

LEUNG Yiu Wah a été à l'origine de nombreuses expositions d'artistes niçois, français et italiens à Hong Kong: en retour il a été accueilli en Europe pour y montrer son travail, principalement en France et en Italie.

Il restait un monde dans lequel je n'avais pas encore eu l'occasion de faire venir LEUNG Yiu Wah; le monde virtuel de Second Life. C'est à l'occasion de son départ de l'atelier qui lui était offert par la ville de Nice que nous avons reconstitué cet espace dans le web 3D. La soirée d'inauguration a permis de réunir de nombreux avatars connectés depuis le monde entier dans une installation flottant dans le ciel de Second Life sur un sol de pommes géantes ornées des cinq étoiles du drapeau chinois.

C'est en croquant dans le fruit interdit que la créature fut chassé du Paradis. Depuis, lorsqu'elle ne tente pas de se prendre pour Dieu en voulant jouer au créateur, elle essaie de reconstruire le monde perdu. Second Life est un paradis où l'artiste redevient la créature à l'intérieur de l'oeuvre. Cette fois, il lui sera impossible de croquer les pommes virtuelles de LEUNG Yiu Wah même si Eve venait à passer par là.
